Crewed Charters are regularly scheduled departures, usually twice per week. The vessels sail out around the Whitsunday Islands for up to 3 days and 3 nights. The vessels offer differing accommodation ranging from shared (which means you bunk in with someone else) to private (which means you have the room to yourself). Some private cabins have their own ensuite and otherS have shared facilities which means your bathroom will be somewhere else in the vessel and you will share with other guests.

Benefits of a crewed charter is that you don't have to hire the whole vessel yourself.  As you will be sharing with other travellers and adventurers, you will have the opportunity to meet people from all other areas of the world.

Inclusions A crewed charter means the crew is supplied, usually a Captain, Cook/Hostess on the smaller vessels to Captain, Cook, Hostess and Deckhands on the larger vessels. Also supplied is all the food you will consume over the duration of your trip, vegetarians and those with special dietary needs are well catered for on all vessels. Your bed linen is also supplied.

Extras are reef tax, approx AU$10 per person/per day. This is a government levy which contributes to the maintenance of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Other extras are stinger suit hire during the stinger season (about AU$18) per trip and your alcohol. Most vessels are bring your own alcohol while some are licensed.

Scuba diving is offered on most vessels for both certified divers and for those that have never dived before. The sailing vessel you are on will meet up with a professional dive vessel like Seasation where you can join in the fun experience of diving the fringing reef of the Whitsundays. A scuba dive normally costs around $75 per person, including all equipment.
