The 60 foot, fully restored Ise Pearl is sure to offer exciting adventure as well as a memorable, relaxing vacation. Experience yesteryear while aboard this magnificent, wooden vessel that offers a special nostalgic ambiance of a bygone era.  The maximum of eight guests allow for a more intimate excursion in which to revel in the glory of some of the most beautiful tropical spots in the world.

The Ise Pearl was at one time a pearling lugger and named after the Japanese town of Ise. This gaff rigged, topsail ketch was built in 1956 by Charles Crowley. The design was an inspiration of Norman Wright of Queensland, Australia.

A hard working life as a pearl lugger for 38 years eventually took its toll on the vessel, but thanks to the tireless efforts of Warren 'Sparrow' Burton.

'Sparrow' Burton rescued the Ise Pearl and sailed it back to his home and began the 6 year restoration process. Sparing no expense, Sparrow has restored the Ise Pearl to its original glory. This skillfully crafted piece of sailing excellence is sure to exceed your expectations.

The meticulous work performed on the Ise Pearl has paid off as she has featured in both movies and on Television. Appearing in commercials and many episodes of 'Flipper', she was also in the Warner Bros production of 'Tales of the South Seas' which was filmed in the Whitsunday Islands.

Featuring an open plan living with single bunks. The vessel is skippered by Sparrow with his wife Machi as your hostess for your 3 day/2 night adventure. They will offer a friendly and gracious tour of one of the worlds most spectacular tropical paradises, paying attention to your comfort and safety. Ise Pearl is the ideal voyage for those who want hands on sailing and don't mind the open plan living. Perfect for families, singles and groups of friends.
