Minimum Price: AUD $ 439 Departing for a 3 day/2 night sail with a maximum of 13 guests, Ragamuffin II is perfect for guests seeking a smaller group experience. The crew will see to it that your holiday is a memorable and exciting experience, allowing you to either relax completely or assist the crew with some hands on sailing. Spend your days exploring all the Whitsunday Islands have to offer, swimming, snorkeling, beachcombing or sunbathing on deck. Help hoist the sails on board the 53ft long sailing vessel. Designed by famous yacht designer Ben Lexcen and built for the Admirals Cup, Ragamuffin II will provide an adventure sail like no other. The crew will sail you to all the best destinations of the day and leave you with ample time to swim and snorkel the fringing reefs of the Islands. Learn about the local history, flora and fauna of the Whitsundays and take advantage of the crews extensive local knowledge. You'll also have the chance to visit the famed Whitehaven Beach, continually voted one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The enticing crystal clear waters will be waiting for you to arrive, and the pure white sand of the beach makes for fantastic photo's. Take a bushwalk, join in beach games, soak up the sunshine, read a good book or grab your snorkeling gear and see the schools of fish swim past. On Ragamuffin II you will have no set itinerary, but will visit locations such as Hook Island, Nara Inlet, Cateran Bay and Whitehaven Beach. The crew will take you to the destinations where you are able to explore or relax...the choice is yours! Ragamuffin is a very spacious boat both below and above deck. Generally attracts those who are looking for a unique and intimate sail where they are able to meet like minded travelers. Onboard are 11 single bunks and a share double berth for couples. The comfortable interior has rich timber finished, creating a warm and welcoming feel. Cuisine All meals are prepared fresh on board. Special dietry needs can be catered for and a sample of a days menu may include: Breakfast: Light continental with selection of breads, cereal, condiments and tea/coffee Morning Tea: Fruit, cake, tea & coffee Lunch: fresh Quiches, breads, pasta and green tossed salads plus fresh tropical fruits Sunset Nibbles: Nachos, cheese and dips Dinner: Succulent chicken breast cooked on the BBQ, served with rice, salad and breads Dessert: Fruit and custard $439 per person in single or share double berth. Local fees and taxes of $60.00 per person payable on check in direct to the Cruise Company (*see below). Local charges cover wet suit hire, Great Barrier Reef EMC $5.00 a day, National Parks $1.50 a day, fuel charges, admin and collection fees, GST. Courtesy bus transfers from local accommodation to Marina is included. What to Bring The essentials to bring on your sailing tour will be toiletries, sun protection including hat and sunglasses, swimwear, practical clothing and footwear, Any medication you require, BYO alcohol and beach & bath towels.
