If you feel adventurous, we'll even show you the ropes (literally!) with some basic sailing tuition and that includes a turn at the wheel (or helm!) You set the pace and we show you the way.
Tongarra offers a fun and popular 2 day/2 night adventure cruise on a stable catamaran. Just under 12 metres in length and 8 in width, she features 26 single beds, seperate gender toilets and an outside shower. A popular option os for passengers to move their mattresses upstairs and sleep under the stars in a true Aussie way. The fun and friendly crew will ensure to it that your cruise is memorable and exciting, without spending a fortune. Make use of the available snorkeling equipment and view the vibrant marine life of the fringing reefs.
See some of the most fantastic, unspoiled tropical islands in the world on your holiday aboard Tongarra. Renowned Whitehaven Beach is known for its white, silica sands that seem to never end as well as the many private coves and inlets that always offer something new to discover. Meander down a walking trail to an exquisite look-out point that will take your breath away.
Tongarra is popular with the ages between 20-28. Suited to singles as she only has single berths, but if you're a couple don't let that deter you! We can organise for your beds to be next to each. Tongarra is known as a local fun loving vessel and everyone always has a fantastic time. Days are spent exploring the Whitsundays and nights are spent upstairs drinking and socializing with fellow guests. It's a place to meet other travellers, you'll find that when you finish your sail (regrettably of course) you will all meet up at nighttime at a local bar or plan to meet up at other destinations. A great way to sail the Whitsundays without hurting your bank account.

Menu:
Breakfast is a selection of breads, condiments (including the Aussie vegemite), fresh fruit platters and cereals. Tea and coffee are available.
Lunch is a selection of cold meat platters, salads, breads, burrito's and options to make your own roll or sandwhich.
Afternoon Snacks: Fresh fruit platter, Biscuits, Fruit Cake, Dorrito Chips, Crackers and dips.
Dinners: Spaghetti Bolognaise, Mixed Salad, Garlic Bread, BBQ Fish, Potatoes, Coleslaw, Damper
Also on sale are Soft drinks, beer, wine and chocolates. All our food is specially prepared on board. Special dietary requirements available on request.
