A huge vessel, over 100 years old, Solway Lass makes for an excellent school charter, family charter, work functions or wedding reception. She can carry 75 passengers for a day charter, and upto 37 for an overnight charter. Also a licensed vessel with a bar on board - couldn't be better!

An air conditioned vessel, the accommodation consists of quad share, private twins and private doubles. Beautiful and comfortable interior she provides a memorable sail around the Whitsundays. Extremely popular vessel, she provides a perfect setting for a laid back and relaxed work function or a personal and intimate wedding party. Available for day charter on Saturdays or you could make the most of your special occasion and extend your charter for 3 days and 3 nights.

school charters

Solway Lass is a fantastic vessel for school charters over 3 days/3 nights. She offers guests the opportunity to experience sailing as it was over 100 years ago. With an amazing history spanning over the 2 World Wars the crew are able to inform and educate your students on the Great Barrier Reef and local history. The 50ft Tarzan rope also adds a bit of excitement to the sail! Diving is available at an extra cost with a rendezvous dive vessel and its experienced and friendly dive instructors.

EMC: At the time of printing a total fee of $30 is recommended by the Whitsunday Charter Boat Industry Association for a 3 day 2 night cruise. This cost includes includes EMC of $4.50 per day, Commercial Activity Permit Fee of $1.35 per day, Administration Fees of $3.77 per day plus GST.
