Windjammer epitomises the grandest of schooner qualities, and with her 2000 ft of sail area and raked masts she makes a spectacular sight as she threads her way through the Whitsunday Islands. Launched in 1994, she is considered to be one of the most beautiful yachts ever to be built in Australia.

This vessel is designed along the lines of the trading and fishing schooners that worked the Grand Banks in the North Atlantic and plied the east coasts of America for 200 years.

Windjammer is a 22m classic, gaff rigged sailing schooner and is the ideal vessel for small group overnight sailing holidays for family and friends, executive retreats, small weddings, birthdays and other celebrations, full day and evening sailing trips, three and six night trips.

Cuisine

Windjammer is renowned for the high standard and variety of its meals. Barefoot Cruises is happy to create special menus for your group. The vessel is licensed and carry a range of good quality beers  and Australian wines.
