Liz MacDonald a vibrant "Scottish Lass" is your friendly pick up person in the morning.  Joseph, the Skipper of Illusions, is an extremely sociable person who has great stories to tell on your sail across Whitsunday Passage. Blue Pearl Bay on Hayman Island and Langford Island are the destinations for the day, where you will have the opportunity to snorkel and have a quick diving experience, if you wish.

Indoor or outdoor seating is available for your comfort, and there is plenty of cover from the sun (or any inclement weather). Morning tea can be enjoyed over a chat or while just enjoying the view of the surrounding islands. Part of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, Blue Pearl Bay on Hayman Island offers excellent coral and marine life.

Boomnetting follows for the fun loving, and a hot or cold fresh water shower is available for all passengers. Afternoon tea is served to refresh you before arriving home at Abel Point Marina. Illusions is a fully licensed vessel for your convenience and carries a maximum of 25 passengers. 

Blue Pearl Bay: Blue Pearl Bay is on Hayman Island, in the northern part of the magnificent Whitsunday Islands on Queensland's Central Coast. Sail and relax with Illusions as we leave Abel Point Marina at Airlie Beach and cross the Whitsunday Passage to Hayman Island.

Watching and being part of the fish feeding at Blue Pearl Bay is an absolute highlight of any trip to the Whitsundays. You will be surrounded by hundreds of fish ranging in size, right up to the metre long Giant Wrass, called 'Mick Jagger Junior' for obvious reasons! Whether you decide to snorkel or take part in scuba diving, you will be delighted at the range of vibrant marine life at Blue Pearl Bay. As is typical of fringing reefs, the coral is diverse and extensive from hard to soft corals waiting for you to explore their fragile beauty. For those not wanting or unable to venture into the water, Illusions is equipped with Bathyscopes that allow you to see the coral and fish life from above water as you float

Langford Reef: Opposite Hayman Island Resort, one of the worlds top resorts, the beach is actually a sand spit that stretches from Langford Island to One Foot Island. You are free to snorkel, dive or stroll the beach. If you are not feeling energetic, kick back and relax until it's time to head back to Airlie Beach
