Siska, one of the most comfortable Maxi Yachts to ever sail the Whitsunday Islands offers 22 guests a 2 day/1 night sailling experience departing on odd days of the month eg 1st, 3rd, 5th etc. Average age is 21 -35 years
Siska was built in Perth, Australia and boasts quite an impressive racing history having won races all over the globe including England, Hawaii, Fiji, New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong and South Africa. At the peak of her racing career she held 21 world racing records!
Make use of the available snorkeling equipment and see the vibrant coral fringing reefs that colorfully blanket the ocean floor. Swim amongst the tropical fish and fascinating marine life for a true island adventure. The warm, azure waters are perfect for swimming as well as snorkeling.
This 80 foot ocean Maxi weighs in at 32 tons and features ample head room all throughout the yacht for maximum comfort. This vessel's single mast is 106 feet tall and she features a spacious deck for guests to relax or socialise. There's also a boom awning when anchored which gives the option of lounging in the sun or shade.
The interior of Siska was fully remodeled in 1994 to ensure she provides maximum comfort as well as style. Two dining tables allow guests to dine together and the large saloon that measures 20 feet wide doubles as a comfy sitting area. Siska offers shared accommodations of 12 single berths and five double berths. Weekly maintenance along with major refits every two years are to thank for keeping Siska looking her best.
The experienced and helpful crew will ensure your holiday aboard Siska is full of thrills and adventure. The myriad of sailing equipment will be explained by the knowledgeable crew who will gladly allow you to assist with hoisting and trimming the sails. Or even take the helm and guide Siska around the Whitsunday islands for an awesome sailing experience.
All of your meals are prepared daily aboard Siska using the best of ingredients. If you have any special dietary requests or restrictions, please advise us upon booking your trip so that we are better able to accommodate. WHAT TO BRING
The essentials to bring on your sailing tour will be toiletries, sun protection including hat and sunglasses, swimwear, beach & bath towels, practical clothing and footwear, any medication you require, BYO alcohol (no glass please) and your favourite CD's
