Nothing quite matches the feeling of standing on the deck of a square rigger with the wind in your face and the smell of salt in the air, as you watch the huge red sails billowing aloft.  With the warm wooden deck beneath your feet and the tropical sun above, Coral Trekker will sail you away for an adventure of a lifetime. All worries will disappear in a communion of yells and laughter as you haul ropes and prepare to set sail for the Great Barrier Reef and Whitsunday Islands  Whether you are travelling alone, with a group or family, you will have a wonderful time aboard Coral Trekker on either a 3 day/3 night sail or 6 day/6 night.

 

SAMPLE ITINERARY OF CORAL TREKKER:

3 NIGHT CRUISE - SATURDAY - NORTHERN ISLANDS - Departs Abel Point Marina,  Airlie Beach

SATURDAY: Board at 1pm. Set sail for Hook Island for our overnight anchorage.

SUNDAY: Snorkelling and scuba diving at Blue Pearl Bay on Hayman Island before setting sail for the Outer Barrier Reef. Overnight at Bait Reef.

MONDAY: Explore the wonders of the outer Great Barrier Reef before departing for Nara Inlet for our overnight anchorage.

TUESDAY: View the aboriginal cave paintings before taking a hike through the rainforests of the fjord like inlet. Sail via Whitsunday Passage to Shute Harbour. Disembark at 12 midday.

3 NIGHT CRUISE - TUESDAY - SOUTHERN ISLANDS - Departs Shute Harbour

TUESDAY: Depart Shute Harbour at 12.30 pm for Cataran Bay on Border Island for snorkelling, scuba diving or a hike to Mosstrooper Peak.

WEDNESDAY: Set sail for the famous Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island for swimming, beachcombing or just lazing in the sun. Take a walk to the spectacular lookout at Hill Inlet.

THURSDAY: Set sail through Solway Pass via Hamilton Island to South Molle Island. At South Molle you can go ashore to visit the resort or explore one of the many walking trails.

FRIDAY: Our last sail back to Abel Point Marina for disembarkation at 10am.

What to bring in a soft carry on bag

The essentials to bring on your sailing tour will be toiletries, sun protection including hat and sunglasses, reading material, swimwear, beach towels, comfortable shoes for walking and extra cash for on board purchases. Alcohol is available for purchase on board.

 

Whats included

Your tour includes all meals freshly prepared, bed linen and bath towels snorkelling equipment, sailing experience, small guest numbers and experienced, friendly crew.
