Minimum Price: AUD $ 930 Windjammer has the elegant lines and fine craftsmanship of the trading schooners of yesteryear. A maximum of nine guests enjoy an intimate sailing holiday of the Whitsundays Islands with an emphasis on relaxation, good food and personalised service. A 72' gaff rigged schooner, Windjammer is designed along the lines of the trading and fishing schooners that worked the Grand Banks in the North Atlantic and plied the east coats of America for 200 years. These classic schooners, handled by small crews, formed the hub of the trading industry and the basis for a thousand books written on small sailing ships. Launched in 1994, Windjammer is considered to be one of the most beautiful yachts ever to be built in Australia and the Whitsunday Islands are privileged to have her gracing their seas... She epitomises the grandest of schooner qualities, sailing at speeds of 10 knots or more on the beam and broad reaches. With her 2000ft of sail area and raked masts she is certainly a spectacular sight. Whilst built in the best traditions of her class offering sailing as it Windjammer is fully crewed with a captain, cook/hostess and deckhand, however guests are encouraged to take the wheel, tend the sheets, or for the more adventurous, climb the ratlines and fine tune the canvas 70 feet above the deck. Whether it's an active or relaxing holiday you're after, the professional attentive crew will ensure you enjoy a memorable holiday in the Whitsunday Islands

Northern Islands
Saturday
Board at 1pm and depart Airlie Beach for Blue Pearl Bay on Hayman Island for snorkeling and overnight anchorage.
Sunday Explore the areas numerous bays and the colorful reefs of Northern Hook Island.
Monday Sail to Nara Fjord inlet and hike through the rainforest and be amazed by the sights of the ancient Aboriginal rock art. After eating lunch, prepare to set sail for overnight anchorage off South Molle Island.
Tuesday Hike to fabulous Mt. Jeffries for a breathtaking bird's eye view of the 74 Whitsunday Islands. Then depart for Shute Harbor and disembark at 12 midday.
Southern Islands
Tuesday: Depart Shute Harbor at 12:30 pm for Cataran Bay on beautiful Border Island for overnight anchorage. Go snorkeling amongst the brilliant fringing reefs of Border Island. Then set sail for the pristine Whitehaven Beach for swimming or beachcombing or take a walk to the lookout at Hill Inlet and have your camera ready for some of the most magnificent views of the Whitsunday Islands. Sail through Solway Pass via Hamilton Island to South Molle Island. At South Molle Island be sure to visit the resort or take time to explore one of the many walking trails in the area. The last sail is to Abel Point Marina for disembark at 10am.
